Majestic Hotel - Miami Beach

We stayed at the Majestic before leaving for a cruise. We had no idea where to stay in Miami so I just looked for something close to the ports. This hotel was great! The location on the strip was an extra bonus. We went for a walk and got a drink at a club to check out the night life. Inside the room was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean, spacious, nice bathroom, everything worked, and the price was fabulous! We tried the breakfast in the morning and that too was great. I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in Miami.

Great price for the location on ocean drive. Good breakfast deals at the restaurant. However the quality of the rooms and the hotel itself could use some improvement. There is no real lobby, just someone behind a window to check in and no one to help with bags as I had to lug in all the bags in the tiny rickety elevator. On check out day, the elevator was broken and I had to bring the bags down via the stairs. The hallways and rooms have an old musky smell of mold that's quite pungent when you enter. The bathroom in our room was so tiny that I had to sit at an angle to use the toilet.

close to the ocean, and in the middle of south beach. free towels and chairs for the beach a nice touch. don't rent a car if planning to stay at any hotel in south beach.

went to south beach for the holiday and got there check in went smooth. got to the room eveything was just as i booked. 2 beds. beach is right across the street. clubs are couple blocks up. ocean drive is where all the bars are. get drunk and go right to your room. will stay here again when i come back

If location is what is important to you, then fine. If you want a little more quiet at night, a little more class, then stay someplace else.

This hotel met our expectations. There is nothing fancy about it, but it came with everything we needed for a great price. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and ready for us to check in several hours early. The beds were comfortable. There was some noise from the street but this hotel is not located directly adjacent to a club as many on Ocean Drive are (this is RIGHT on the strip so what do you expect?). I would recommend this hotel to couples, friends, or a single person but not families or people looking for a luxury experience.

Only 5 min walk to the parking garage on 7th and Collins. Parking was $25 per 24 hours at the garage, which was very conveniant. Located in the nicer area of South Beach with all the nice stores. Bathroom was pretty small, but doable. There was a compact fridge only to hold alchohal, but locked(No sense). Called for a fridge to use, took 10 min to deliver, good service. Breakfast was pretty good and cheap. They give away complimentary drink passes at Club MANSION. Make sure to be at Mansion before 11 or those drink passes are void.

the location is ideal if you want the beach, clubs & great dining while enjoying ocean breeze and eye candy. very nice helpful staff. clean & comfortable room.

Need to give hotel guests discount on the resturant downstairs. Very expensive. Bec was not a Superior queen size. it was a full size bed.

the location was perfect, right next to the ocean which was kool...the staff were also chill and great service...loved the whole location and place it self..i will be back for springbreak next year....

The location of this hotel was amazing, if it were any closer to South Beach you would be in the water. Shopping, restaurants, nightlife all walking distance. Lobby had a slight odor about it but room was clean and smelled great. Overall excellent hotel

This hotel is a nice little find. Nice bed, clean room. Friendly staff. Reasonably quiet. Wireless internet. For less than a hundred bucks, it's great.

The room was small for 4 people (2 double beds); there wasn't a lot of space for our luggage and things. The bathroom was a nice size but not a lot of storage/counter space for toiletries. The lighting was too dim. However,the location was excellent, we walked right out a door into everything: shopping, night life, beach. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The staff was very accomodating.

The room I paid for was suppose to be Superior Queen,we received a Superior Full. And it was in a small room like a jailcell with out the bars. The bathroom was the smallest thing I ever saw. You couldn't sit down and use the bathroom without hitting your knees on door. Went down to the custumer sevice desk and they did up grade us (FREE OF Charge) to a Handicap king room, with no view. The room was being cleaned so we had to wait a half-n-hour for that. To valet park your car is $25.00,$75.00 room deposit and there is a resort fee. Overall the customer service was excellet and for a one night stay, it isn't bad.

Great location right on Ocean Drive. YOu can't argue with that. We were travelling with another couple and had a reservation for 4 people in a room with 2 double beds. When we checked in they only had an 'upgraded room' which was tiny and had just one double bed. Some upgrade! Earlier that day we had decided we wanted separate rooms anyway and had booked a second room, so it worked out OK with us this time. The girl at the front desk said it was lucky we had booked another room. I don't know what they/we would have done if we hadn't? Our room was on the 7th ave side of the building and one room back from Ocean Drv. It was a Friday night so I guess it is to be expected, but we went to bed about 2am and it was noisy noisy noisy all night - police sirens right outside the window, some music from the bars - but not bad, but people in the halls of the hotel were very very loud as they came home, or even hung out there for a while. The last group came in about 6am. The bathrooms were very small, but in reasonable condition. They did have flatscreen TVs in the rooms which was a surprise. I wouldn't stay here again though. I would give up the convenience of the location to stay a couple of minutes taxi ride north of 'the strip' at one of the newer/nicer hotels.

The hallways are dark. The room was very small and smelly. The staff was unfriendly. Only valet parking for $25, (rip off).

We stayed at Majestic for 4 nights, 3 persons in 2 rooms. In GENERAL it´s a nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The location is outstanding and for the very same reason the nightlife is quite hectic untill early morning. If you travel with kids avoid this area, i e the very south of south beach. It´s too "wild" for kids, almost a bit decadent at certain places. The rooms at the hotel are clean. Upon leaving, however, we were asked to pay 80 dollars - we had paid the hotel through hotels.com - and we asked why? It turned out there was a HIDDEN MANDATORY RESORT FEE of 10 $/room/night for beach towels, beach chairs and for internet. We had not used any of those things, but were nevertheless asked to pay - and so we did. We had bought our own beach towels. We checked the internet, it didn´t work at all in any of the 2 rooms. 80 dollars is not a lot, but tho a high fee for something you haven´t used at all or can´t use (wifi)! Despite this annoying and superfluous incidence the overall impression of the hotel is good - the owner should, however, incorporate the resort fee in the roomprice (would be more honest), hence it turns out to be an OBLIGATORY FEE. It´s against common sence to pay a fee for something you don´t use or can´t use, i e the wifi! Michael, Copenhagen, Denmark

God resturant men dårlige rom og standard ellers

Das Hotel liegt zwischen Restaurants und Lokalen. Direkt gegenüber vom Strand nur durch die Straße getrennt. Das Zimmer war gut und sauber.

Blev otroligt trevligt bemötta. Visst är det ett hiskligt liv men det ju mitt i smeten. Rent och snyggt på rummen. Om man vill ha lugn och ro, fel hotell. Om man vill vara det det händer, rätt ställe. För en lugn natt. Välj rum högt upp mot gården. Bara plus att ge detta hotell.

Hotellet i sig selv er ikke meget regulært. Det er funktionelt og rent... Central placering, men svært at finde parkeringer i området, især i weekenden, hvis man ikke vil betale 20 dollars for hotellets parkering.

Hôtel bien situé, mais chambre sans aucun charme. Très bon rapport qualité - prix.

La proprete de la chambre etait tres bonne. L'hotel est situer juste en face de la plage, l'un des meilleurs emplacements de south beach. Par contre, le service est fortement contestable. Je travaille dans le milieu hotelier depuis plus de 10 ans, et le service dans cet hotel est mediocre. On a plus l'impression de les deranger qu'autre chose.

Minsta möjliga rum med tunnast möjliga väggar, hotellet är tyvärr inte värt ett besök av någon.
