The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nicely furnished, and very clean. It was a little bit of a walk from the "things to do" area of Barcelona, but at least it was a straight shot down one street. I was very, very pleased.

This hotel looked new and was very clean. The lady at the front desk spoke clear english and was friendly and helpful. It was near a small food market and is a safe area to walk in even at night. There was a nice european style breakfast at the hotel but it was a little high for what they served but convienient. My one big complaint was our beds! They were the hardest we had ever slept on. I had an aching back for 2 days after. It's a nice small hotel if you can take those hard beds.

Air conditioning was nice. Pretty far away from la rambla.

Hotel was in ideal location. Very clean and very helpful staff. Will stay again

I stayed here for the second time this week. If you don't mind being out of the tourist hubbub, it's just a great place. Clean, convenient and in a great neighborhood with great shopping, restaurants and ambiance. It's a real plus that they have a computer with free wifi in the lobby since I don't usually bring my computer to Europe.

We booked this hotel on the recomendation of others on this site who classed this hotel as a 3 star hotel mascarading as a 5 star hotel and the fact that they accepted our dog - However we found this hotel is 'Holiday Inn Express' standard. It is in the middle of the business sector and although clean, the room was very small with no extras such as tea making facilities. There is no restaurant and few acceptable places to eat locally. The staff are friendly and helpful but this is just a Holiday Inn Express by any other name - 5 Star it is not ! - 3 Star only just !

We stayed at this hotel twice - once before our cruise and then again one day after. We loved this hotel because the staff was very helpful and friendly, it is in a great location, not expensive, has a breakfast bar and an outdoor patio area.There is a general grocery store just two doors down and it is only a block away from the bus stop. We walked to the Sengrada Familia and other architectural woders to see and visit, and took the bus to Las Ramblas. The rooms are small, cozy and very clean. Room size was not an issue for us- we were sight seeing most of the time.

we booked the hotel because of the positive reviews we read and we were not dissapointed. Breakfast buffet was well worth the money because there was cereal, tea, coffee, cakes, rolls, meats, fruit, bread for toast and orange juice. the location was fine near the shops and we walked to Ramblas fronm the hotel. The hotel is next door to a supermarket where you can get drinks and snacks from. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends.

This hotel is very convenienty located in the middle of Barcelona. It is very small and the hotel staff is very polite. The room rate is very competitive and I would recomend this to anyone traveling to Barcelona on business.

The Hotel Medium Confort was an unexpected surprise considering the price we paid. Service was excellent and the room facilities top class. We really cannot fault the hotel on anything. We missed the EUR8.50 breakfast and instead had a coffee and croissant in the supermarket cafe next door. Many guide books say the nearest metro stations are Diagonal and Fontana. It's a long uphill walk from Diagonal. Gracia station on FGC Line 7 (etc) from Placa de Catalunya is actually much nearer being just a block away. Also lots of buses in to the city from C/Balmes and Via Augusta which are round the corner and one block away respectively.

This hotel was a breath of fresh air. Though the rooms are small, they are nice and clean. The location of the hotel is great. It is next door to a grocery store and walking distance to restaurants and stores galore. Customer service is SUPERB!

Hotel had modern, clean, comfortable rooms, but noisy hallways. Internet was available, but the user space was cramped. Very convenient and central downtown area. Breakfast too expensive.

Udmærket hotel lidt nord for midtbyen, tæt på offentlig transport (stationen Gracia). Flinke receptionister som talte udmærket engelsk. En lidt kedelig morgenmadbuffet, som vi valgte fra. Der er ingen særlige faciliteter, bortset fra en god kaffeautomat, men hotellet er både rent, godt beliggende og billigt.

Hotellet ligger i ett fint område inte allför långt till sevärdehterna. Utmärkt service och jättefin standard¨på hotell och rum i övrigt!

leider wie in den meisten Hotels sind sie schlecht isoliert,vorallem die Türen.

Für den Preis, den wir in der Vorsaison gezahlt haben, ist das Hotel gut gewesen. Alle Hauptattraktionen sind fußläufig bzw. über die nahen öff. Verkehrsmittel zu erreichen. Minuspunkt fürs Parken, nur über ein Parkhaus möglich, welches zusätzlich kostenpflichtig ist (25 € je Tag!).

Das Hotel ist TipTop Liegt in einem sehr saubern viertel und alles einheimischen Discos und Bars sind zwei Gehminuten entfernt

Voici un hôtel bien tenu et charmant. Plutôt bien situé malgré la distance de la ramblas. Seul hic, l'insonorisation... Sinon, personnel charmant et qualité de la chambre correct.

ottimo hotel per pulizia,servizi,cortesia del personale,ottimamente collegato al centro con bus anche notturni e metropolitana. comunque anche a piedi in 15 minuti a piedi si raggiungono le ramblas
