Room Mate Mario - Madrid

The location was perfect, ideal for sightseeing. Clean and modern with very comfortable beds. The staff were more than helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and couldn't be faulted.

My wife and I spent two nights in February on a city break. The hotel is very conveniently located near the main tourist attractions and shops. Nice decor, friendly staff and good breakfast, though the coffe wasn't particularily to my liking!

We spent 3 days at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay, Room was fine and the breakfast was good, The hotel is very Funky. Hotel is very close to the Opera metro which is very easy to use.

Polished in every way - every item was well designed and all sparkling clean. Entrance feels a bit like walking into a night club but we loved the contempoary chic feel and detail. Bedrooms not huge but big enough and mainly white decor (except for amazing design on bed wall) and clean lines meant they felt quite spacious. Bathrooms, with baths!, were spotless and we liked the chequerboard effect tiles. Breakfast was a tasty varied cold buffet with lots of healthy options such as good fresh fruit and also great tasting coffee. Staff friendly and helpful - they allowed me to stay in my room till 2pm on our day of departure as I was ill. Location good - nice quiet street, though better for old area than museums - but not too far to walk.

Located right in the heart of the city a 2 minute walk from puerta del sol and the royal palace fantastic staff so informative and friendly room are basic but really clean and breakfast till 12! couldn't say enough good thing about this place and Madrid is great too

The ease of getting to this hotel was incredibly easy. From the airport, the metro stop at the opera to the hotel is literally 1/2 block. Clean, great design, friendly atmosphere, and quiet. Didnt spend much time in the room because wanted to take Madrid in. But the hotel is located in the right place, and just a great hotel to stay in.

Front desk terrific. Curtains stained, carpet dirty, maid service good tho. No closet room at all. Overpriced for this quality but overall ok.

I absolutely loved this hotel! They had a fun, upbeat vibe in the lobby and rooms. It was always very clean and the front desk was beyond helpful!! The location is so great, within minutes walking distance to Plaza Mayor and there is a metro station right down the street. And the very best of all....Their included breakfast buffet--- Absolutely amazing! It was a great place to wake up every morning!

A very modern hotel close to the Royal Palace. All the staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean and bright. The breakfast was brilliant! My friend has already booked again for later in the year!!

Clean modern rooms in a central location. First time in Madrid. Got the Metro from the Airport. Hotel 100m from Opera station. Easy to find. Didn't need the Metro other than that in the 4 days we were there. Breakfasts were great and set you up for the day. Walked to Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofia etc. Goyas frescos in the little church where he is buried (Hermita de San Antonio de la Florida) are a treat if you like that sort of thing.

This hotel provided one of the greatest breakfast ever! However, the room decor was not as pretty as I saw in the pictures - somewhat disappointing. I would not recommend for a honeymoon, but it would be a fair deal for the backpackers.

This is a great value in a great city. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and it is near a busy tourist location but still quiet. We would return here without hesistation.

A very well situated hotel, 75 meters or so from Opera tube station. Hotel is very modern looking, like an Ikea showhouse!. Breakfast is very nice, good quality ingredients unlike a lot of buffet breakfasts in hotels. Close to loads of restaurants and bars. Honestly, you couldnt get a better located hotel

Tout était parfait. Desing excellent, calme, literie etc,,, Peut être que le seul bémol lest a climatisation un peu bruyante.

L'Hôtel est situé en plein centre de Madrid, à deux pas des grandes places, de gran via et ses boutiques et de petites rues où on peut manger des tapas à toute heure. L'accueil est très chaleureux et la déco recherchée. Et le petit Déj. buffet est génial et jusqu'à midi en plus ... Bref très bonne adresse avec un très bon rapport qualité prix que je recommande mille fois !!!!

den perfekte beliggenhed: helt centralt, men i en stille sidegade uden støj. Meget venlig og hjælpsom stab, der taler pænt engelsk, og en virkelig god morgenmad. Alt rent, nyt og pænt. Eneste lille minus, hvis man er sart : meget hårde madrasser

Hôtel très bien placé dans rue très calme, proche du métro, refait à neuf récemment, design très moderne, tout confort, petit déjeuné excellent, vraiment rien à redire.

Colazione ottima. Pulizia delle camere ottima. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Arredamento camere essenziale ma curato. Da provare !!!!

I think that Room Mate Mario is a good hotel to stay at in Central Madrid. Though this said i must admit i was a bit on the "design" side for me including the space-feeling lightning in the hallways. It had a good breakfast menu, nothing over the top but good. I can easily recommend you to stay here as the hotel comes in good style vs. the price.

Dette hotellet var stilig innredet, hadde en kjempefin stab som bestandig stilte opp hvis det var noe vi lurte på. og ett stort pluss er at det også ligger i 5-minutters gåavstand til Plaza Del Sol der det er utrolig mange shoppingmuligheter samt mange flotte tapasrestauranter.

Room Mate MArio är ett litet trevligt hotel med utsökt läge 50 meter från Operan och 100 meter från slottet. Nära till centrum och gångavstånd till dom flesta attraktionen. Ligger på en lite bakgata vilket även gör att det är relativt tyst på nätterna. Enkelt och rent och skulle säkerligen åkt tillbaka.

Een heerlijk hotel, goede kamers, mooie badkamer en een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. 100m van de metro en 100m van het winkelgebied. Het paleis ligt op 200m dus wat wil je nog meer???

Hôtel très bien à tout point de vue : très bien situé : proche du métro, de l'Opéra , dans une rue calme. Décor et ambiance modernes sans agressivité. Accueil de qualité, chambre confortable et petit-déjeuners extra.

Alt var helt topp, lite hotell med kjempegod atmosføre og service fra personalet. Flott gjennomførende stil/design som går igjen overalt. Det kan nok være noen rom i samme etasje som spiserommet som kan oppleve noe støy, men vi hadde en etasje lenger opp og det var kjempegreit. Det eneste lille om vi kan sette fingern på noe var dusjen. Vannet sprutet utover golvet pga. av manglende forheng/dør. Det skal nok være slik pga. av den noe minimalistiske stilen, men det er litt unødvendig.

l'hotel est tres bien situé,à deux pas du centre de la ville.La deco et l'eclairage rendent l'atmosphere calme et reposante. Le petit dejeuner sous forme de buffet est tres bien garni.On a l'impression de se servir dans la cuisine d'un ami. Un endroit donc à recomander.

zentrale Lage, trotzdem ruhig. sehr freundliches und bestens informiertes Personal. Frühstüch reichhaltig. Hotelzimmer relativ klein, besonders das Bad!

L'hotel è ben posizionato. Vicino al centro e e a 1 minuto dalla metro. Buona e abbondante la colazione self service. Siamo stati tre notti. La prima abbiamo avuto vicini di stanza molto rumorosi. Il giorno dopo abbiamo fatto presente la cosa e ci hanno subito cambiato la stanza. Posto tranquillo.

auch nach längerem nachdenken, gibt es nur positives über das hotel zu berichten!

Wir waren mit dem Zimmer und insbesondere mit dem Frühstück sehr zufrieden. Sehr zentral gelegen. Einziger Mangel ist die laute Straße.
