positive rating for: excellent location, beautiful seaview, hotel general conditions (need maybe a little "freshen up", negative rating for: personnel not very friendly in general, average/poor breakfast, if u want to go in town bit far and expensive about 7-10 euros

The hotel was nestled on the edge of the Adriatic with a beautiful view of the bay. On a hot, sunny day, I dived into the crystal clear waters from large rocks that invited this thrilling experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and I had e mailed them in advance, requesting Sea View. They provided us with a suite overlooking the water. The two bathrooms were spotless and the service was top notch. They even, included Champagne and fresh fruit. The Concierge desk was very helpful. It was close to bus transportation to the Old Town. We took a cab that the hotel prearranged from the airport with a return trip when it was time to leave. Dubrovnik was a little more expensive than other Eastern Europe locations. We stayed for three days and I hated to leave, but we had planned a three week trip to other destinations.

We stayed here for our first three nights of our honeymoon to relax a bit before heading off to the Hvar and it was great. Couldn't pick a better location for being a little ways away from the city but still close enough to get back and forth easily in a cab, bus, or even better- rent a scooter. The hotel rooms are very nice and the ocean side view is phenomenal. The rooms are not quite high-end nice though, e.g. two double beds don't really make a queen, but overall it met our expectations.

Great location. Great hotel. Large rooms. Extra amenities in hotel. Convenient to marinas, downtown, old city, etc. Pleasant experience.

This hotel was lovely, but it was a bit outside of the main city. If you have multiple days to stay in Dubrovnik, then I'd definitely recommend it, but if you are only looking to stay for a few nights (I stayed two), you might want to stay somewhere more central. There is a bus stop close to the hotel, but it tends to get quite full as it nears the Pile Gate. The staff was very helpful and entertaining. The free breakfast was nice and you absolutely CANNOT beat the view of the hotel. The pool area looked amazing, but I didn't have enough time to spend enjoying it. The hotel is right on the coast on that overlooks the water. My room had AC (a plus in the 100 degree weather!) and a balcony that overlooked the sea. There were elevators, which was nice, as I found some hotels in Croatia to not have them. Also, there was lots of hot water in the shower and free wi-fi in the room!

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. All the staff were very kind and helpful, and the room was great for our needs. Beautiful views and sun lounge area. And only 10 mins from the gorgeous old town.

From the outside the group of hotels look standard and unimpressive. Once inside however, the class shows. It's very clean and well presented- probably through it's use as a conference centre. Rooms are clean, nice sea view and everything within close proximity. The service by the waiters are exceptional- even remembering our orders after one day. Sun bathing by the pool is a must or just dive off the side into the Adriatic. When going into the old town- which isn't that close- don't drive as trying to find a parking space in the summer is more stress than it's worth. Also don't be fooled into thinking there's a sandy beach.

My 3 friends and I had reservations for twin rooms at the Neptun. On arrival, 2 were upgraded to Ariston, and the other 2 were upgraded to a Neptun Apartment. The facilities are great (gym, sunning area, 2 x pools and ocean swimming). No beach but not missed. The cocktails at the bar ae great. BUT the food is awful! Breakfast is ok but lunch/dinner terrible. The Room Service menu is incorrect and you order food from the cafe zoe menu. Pizza or spagetti are the safe bets! I got a pedicure at the wellness centre which was FANTASTIC and great value for money.

We spent 2 nights here as we saw sights in the area. It is classed as a resort but we just needed a place to stay that was comfortable. The restaurant was good for a varied breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the Adriatic. Parking was available we was important to us.

This hotel was great value for money and surpassed our expectations for a four star resort. Although it is approx 3km from the Old Town, the bus stops closeby and runs very regulary. In addition, being out of the main tourist area is far more relaxing and the hotel has a great bar / sun lounge area for doing just that! Try their Mojito's - they were great!

We would highly recommend this hotel. It is a short bus ride from the old town so you can spend one day doing that and then the rest of your time relaxing by the ocean at the hotel - beautiful!

My husband and I started our honeymoon at Importanne and were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool/rocky beach area was beautiful. It is located at the end of the Babin Kuk peninsula, and the local bus stop is just up a path from the main entrance. There's a bus every 10-15 minutes to the old town, so getting around was pretty easy. The bus ride is maybe 15 minutes max. Breakfast was included with our room - it was a very large buffet with lots of selection and better than average quality. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel, particularly if you book ahead and get a good deal.

I had read reviews about the amazing staff at this hotel, and my expectations were far exceeded! The front desk staff is the most friendly, helpful group I've encountered at any hotel. The restaurant provides free breakfast overlooking the Adriatic, and there's 2 beautiful pools along with a great place for swimming in the sea. Also a fitness room and spa, although we didn't take advantage of those facilities. The only "slight" drawback was the hotel's location. It was isolated on the end of the peninsula, which required taking busses or cabs into the Old City, the bus/ferry terminal, and the airport. The busses to the Old City ran every 15 minutes and were very convenient, but the busses to the ferry terminal only ran every 50 minutes and getting to the airport required an expensive taxi. But overall, a wonderful experience! I would DEFINITELY stay here again and would recommend it to everyone I know.

Helt greit, men vi hadde andre forventninger. Vi hadde nok misforstått og trodde at dette var et femstjerners hotell, men det var et fire-stjerners hotell som en del av en kjede (Importanne Resort) som bestod av tre-fire hoteller hvorav vårt hotell het Neptun. Uteområdet var fint, man kunne ligge på solsenger og hoppe i sjøen fra klippene.

Hotellet ligger veldig fint til ved sjøkanten, med rent og klart vann. Deilig badeplass i sjøen, i tillegg til basseng. Ca 800 meter til strand, som etter min mening er dårligere enn fjellet ved hotellet. 4 km avstand til gamlebyen, men bussen går veldig ofte.

Bra läge vid klippstrand, tyst och skönt, restaurangerna ganska OK men inte särskilt mycket kt dyrare än i Dubrovnik stad

Flott beliggenhet ved havet, selv om området er veldig rolig og har lite å tilby i form av restauranter, butikker etc. Hyppige avganger med rutebuss til Old Town gjør likevel plassen attraktiv. Flott service på hotellet, rommet noe lite.

trés bonne situation géographique...bus 6 terminus..trés pres...de tout...vue magnifique...grand calme...

Quiet area. Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Bus connection to the old town. Reasonably priced.
