Location. Located in Vienna, Austria, the modern design and stylish atmosphere of the Falkentsteiner Hotel am Schottenfeld distinguish this property from the historic hotels found nearby. This hotel stands less than one kilometer from the city center.

Vienna Schwechat Airport (VIE): Approximate driving time is 30 minutes and distance is 20 kilometres (12.5 miles).
Vienna's U-Bahn metro trains (line U3, in the direction of Ottakring) run to the city centre. From the airport guests should take the 'Vienna Airport Lines' and get off at Westbahnhof.
At Westbahnhof station, guests should change onto line U6 in the direction of Floridsdorf and get off at Burggasse, 300 metres from the hotel.
Alternatively, the hotel can arrange for taxi transfer, and journeys cost around 35.

Driving directions:
From the airport, take the B225 towards central Vienna.
Once in the city, change onto the B221 and follow round to the east, crossing the river.
Turn right onto Westbahnstrasse.
Turn left onto Schottenfeldgasse.
