Opis


Location. Hotel Tchaikovsky is located in Prague, in the Czech Republic. Wenceslas Square with its shops, restaurants and nightlife is 800 metres away. The nearest metro station is IP Pavlova, 300 metres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel is housed in an historic 19th-century building. Guests at Hotel Tchaikovsky will appreciate the multi-lingual staff at the 24-hour front desk, who can advise on sightseeing in the 'Golden City'. The hotel offers a limousine service and complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby. A complimentary Swedish-style buffet breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room.

The hotel offers one meeting room and complimentary wireless Internet access in all public areas.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms are equipped with bathrooms featuring complimentary luxury toiletries. Amenities include satellite television, direct-dial phones, minibars and desks. All rooms feature custom- made replicas of antique Italian furniture and decor that is bright, modern and simple.

Expert Tip. Wenceslas Square, two kilometres from the hotel, is one of two main squares in Prague. It attracts many visitors due to its ample supply of bars, clubs, restaurants and shops. It makes a great starting point for sightseeing as most attractions are within walking distance of the square.

From Prague Ruzyne Airport (PRG):
Distance to Hotel Tchaikovsky is 20 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Registered taxis wait outside the Arrivals hall and cost about 600-900 CZK (22-32 EUR) to the city centre. Minibuses depart from outside the Arrivals hall and run to Namesti Republiky square, in the city centre. The single fare is 90 CZK per person. Bus numbers 119 and 254 run to Dejvicka, the airport's closest metro station. From Dejvicka take the metro to IP Pavlova, 300 metres from the hotel. A single ticket costs 20 CZK (1 EUR). Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Prague's historic centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, as many roads are pedestrianised. There is an efficient and inexpensive public transport system, including trams, buses, metro, and a funicular railway. Tickets are available from tobacconists, stations, and many hotel reception desks, and can be used on all modes of transport. Five of the major metro stations have information offices, with schedules, maps, and directions.
