Opis


Location. The traditional Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel is located in Oslo, Norway, opposite the Parliament building and 500 metres from the National Gallery. The Edvard Munch Museum, Royal Castle and beach are all one-and-a-half kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Set in a classic Norwegian building dating back to 1901, the seven-storey Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel has a lobby with seating area, television and complimentary newspapers. There is a gift shop on site, selling traditional clothing and arts and crafts.

Norwegian dishes, like dried salted cod and potato dumplings, are served in the Kaffistova Restaurant, a bright modern dining room decorated with local artefacts. Guests of the Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel enjoy a 20% discount here and a complimentary buffet breakfast daily.

The hotel's seven conference rooms can accommodate up to 200 people. There is a business centre at the hotel. The hotel also offers audiovisual equipment and computers for hire. There is a safe deposit at reception. High-speed Internet access is available.

Guestrooms. The hotel's 127 air- conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a minimalist style with parquet floors. Rooms offer cable televisions, minibars, tea/coffee-making facilities and high-speed Internet access. Bathrooms have bath/shower combinations and makeup mirrors.

Renovation notice. Refurbishment work will be carried out to the meeting rooms and hotel corridors from the 1st July 2008. Work will be carried out during the day and the nearest rooms will not be in use in order to keep disturbance to guests to a minimum. Please contact the hotel direct ly for further information.

From Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL):
Distance to Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel is 45 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis wait outside the Arrivals hall, and the fare to the city centre is approximately 500 NOK-900 NOK, depending on the number of passengers and the time of day. The Airport Express train runs every 10-20 minutes for the train station in Oslo city centre, and the fare is 160 NOK for a single ticket. Trains go from the airport to Lillehammer, Skien and Trondheim. The SAS Airport bus leaves for Oslo every 20 minutes, and night buses are available. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes and single tickets cost 120 NOK. Coaches and buses run to other destinations throughout the city and the rest of Norway. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Best Western Bondeheimen Hotel is on Rosenkrantz Gate. Oslo's efficient public transport network includes buses, trams, trains and an underground (T-Bane) system. Ferries run between Oslo city hall and Bygdoy Island from April to October. Taxis are available, but very expensive. Car parking can be found near the hotel.

Follow the E6 into Oslo city centre.
Turn onto Rosenkrantz Gate and cross Karl Johansgate.
Turn right onto Kristian IV Street.
