Opis

Location. The six story Scandic Oslo Kna hotel stands in central Oslo, Norway, two-hundred meters from the Royal Palace. Upscale shopping opportunities lie three-hundred meters from the hotel while Akershus Fort, a medieval structure and the site of important state occasions, stands five-hundred meters away. Nearby museums include the National Gallery of Art, Munch Museum and Viking Museum, located within four kilometers of the hotel. Oslo-Gardermoen Airport is thirty-eight kilometers from the property.
Hotel Features. The hotel houses two restaurants. Rom & Kjokken restaurant serves Scandinavian dishes, including fresh fish and Scandic burgers with beer. Seasonally, the restaurant offers fresh air dining on the terrace. Meanwhile, Lapsen restaurant presents an extensive breakfast buffet, including a special children's buffet in the summer and on weekends. Additionally, Lapsen's seasonal children's play area features a variety of toys, including a play kitchen, a tent and movies. The hotel also provides eleven meeting rooms to accommodate up to 120 guests. Meeting rooms feature feng-shui design in cheerful colors. The hotel's rejuvenating amenities include a sauna, solarium and fitness center.

Guestrooms. Scandic Oslo Kna hotel's 189 guestrooms present contemporary design and feature minimalist furniture, light wood flooring and modern art hung on brightly- colored walls. Work desks pair with wireless Internet service to provide functional office accommodations. Purposed to rejuvenate, guestrooms also offer satellite television and lounge furniture. Meanwhile, a cold beverage from the minibar compliments a snack from the room service menu.

Expert Tip. Three- hundred meters from the hotel, the four-story House of Oslo boasts twenty interior design shops offering cutting-edge home design products in 14,000 square meters of retail space.
